Your data stays with you
PetPouch stores all pet information locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account — it is never accessible to us. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data or your pets' data with third parties. We have no servers. We have no database of your pets.
Information you enter
Pet names, photos, health records, vet appointments, medications, vaccinations, weight entries, allergies, and favorite foods are stored on your device. If you have iCloud sync enabled, this data is also stored in your personal iCloud account to keep your devices in sync. This data is never accessible to Paw Studio Apps and is not shared with third parties. You may also choose to export it yourself using the CSV or PDF export feature.
iCloud and CloudKit
PetPouch uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across your own devices via iCloud. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. Paw Studio Apps has no access to your iCloud data. iCloud sync is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID.
Pet photos
Pet photos you add are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared. When you share a Pet Profile Card, you are sharing an image generated on your device — we play no role in that process.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications, these are processed entirely on your device by Apple's notification system. We do not have access to notification content, delivery status, or any related data.
No tracking or analytics
PetPouch does not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or any diagnostic data. We do not use any analytics SDKs or third-party tracking libraries. PetPouch products are ad-free and we do not allow advertisers to promote their products or services through PetPouch.
No third-party integrations
PetPouch does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external service used is Apple's MapKit for vet clinic search, which is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
Suitable for all ages
PetPouch is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Policy updates
If we update this policy, the new version will appear in the app and on this page. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
